To obtain the AK electrician license and work as a journeyman electrician in the state, you're going to be required to meet all of these requirements:
1. Have a minimum of four years of full-time working experience
2. Complete the Application For Certificate Of Fitness from the Alaska Department of Labor
3. Do and pass the electrical accreditation assessment
Out of your eight thousand hours of work experience, not less than 6,000 of the time has to be either industrial or commercial. You can account for the balance with any combination of this work:
